Our DJ's have been in the industry for a long time and have worked for many other DJ companies. During this time, they have noticed that equipment quality used is lacking in the Mobile DJ Industry. This is why we have no problem posting on-line the equipment we currently use.
You will find other companies hide what equipment they use or tell you it's "high quality", but without details. We are not looking at maximizing profits by buying cheaper equipment, we are looking to impress you and give you the 'Ultimate DJ' experience.
Sound System
The sound system that Ultimate DJ Productions uses is the Dynacord D-LITE 2000 system. Which has 2000w worth of quality Electro-Voice system, of a subwoofer and two speakers. As far as we are told, this is currently the only system owned in Western Australia and has been for the last 2 years. This proves the lack of initiative from other companies to produce quality.
System
For a DJ to stand out in today's technological world, he has to have the best equipment. Ultimate DJ Productions uses the well known brand pioneer for their quality CD players and mixers. The CD players of choice is the Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK2 or the new Technics SL-DZ1200, which allows DJ's mix just like they are using a vinyl turntable, making the DJ experience even better. The mixer of choice is the Pioneer DJM-909 or the Technics SH-MZ1200, which is one of the best 2-channel mixers on the market. So the mixing of the songs can appear seamless.
Lighting Effects
To create the best atmosphere, as a DJ you need the best lights and effects. As a standard, Ultimate DJ Productions prefers to use a smoke machine with its lights as it gives the dance floor that party atmosphere with the laser effect of the lights.
The smoke machine we use is the JEM ZR12-AL, which is a beast when it comes to smoke machines. Its able to pump out a little smoke to running a whole nightclub off one smoke machine instead of 2 or 3 smoke machines.
Most DJ's lighting systems are bought cheaply from any named brands. Most DJ's do this because they assume they have the same effect as quality lighting system, which they do not. At Ultimate DJ Productions we only use lighting systems by the quality brands MARTIN and GENI, which are by far the best in the industry. Below are some of the lights currently in use by Ultimate DJ Productions.
Special Effects Lights
To create some unique atmosphere you can add to your party or wedding a fire effect light. This will make the walls or floor look as if its on fire. This will make the lighting show one to remember. We again only use the highest quality lighting which is the Martin Mania DC2 Fire Effect Light. This light has a surcharge of $40 to hire for your function.
Bubble Machines
To create some spectacular atmosphere you can get a bubble machine at your wedding or party. Instead of your average or normal bubble machine that produces 500-1000 bubbles per min. We use the Light Emotion Z30 which produces an amazing 3000+ bubbles per min. It has 2 large fans on it also which blow the bubbles actually ONTO the dance floor instead of into the closest person to the bubble machine. This has a surcharge of $50 to hire for your function.
Snow Machines
These machines are fantastic. They produce a snow like foam that floats down from onto the dance floor. These are popular particularly birthday parties who wish to create a unique atmosphere. This particular snow machine has a high output that will cover everyone on the dance floor with the snow like foam that will evaporate after a minute or so to leave no effect to clothing. This has a surcharge of $60 to hire for your function.
Lasers
To create that modern nightclub atmosphere to your function, you can hire a Red and Green laser. This creates fast moving patterns which form on the walls. The lasers look really great in the smoke, the beams look like you can almost touch them in the middle of the air. This has a surcharge of $40 to hire for your function.
Other Useful Information
Ultimate DJ Production's use of high quality equipment means for you NO distortion, and high output. This is due to the high sensitivity Dynacord speakers, cross-overs and amplifiers which we use. These eliminate all distortions and gives you a true sound that you will love.
It's a fact that for every 3 decibel increase in sound, the amplifier must have double the output (logarithmic Scale for the mathematicians). The more amplification you require for louder & crisper sound, the more power you require. This causes a need for three-phase power outlets for competitors to even compete with our single-phase amplified speaker systems.
If you can imagine a competitors speaker running a sensitivity of 90 decibels at 1 watt at 1 metre and our Dynacord speakers which have a sensitivity of 99 decibels at 1 watt at 1 metre as a starting point. Then you get the following outputs. Remembering that our dynacord loudspeakers run 1000w in the sub and 500w each in the tops. Don't look at this table as what the 'actual' sound levels will be, its a generalised test which is conducted by speaker manufacturers.
